Info A nifty ability for pulling a mob and establishing some decent threat on it right away. Beyond PvE, its nifty as a simple form of ranged damage, especially considering its lack of rage costs.

This spell is oriented towards PvP, letting you put some distance between melee and yourself. Other players can see the circle, so its less useful in world pvp, where you can expect a rogue to be waiting at your circle. For PvE, it is excellent for various purposes as well. Example: a large fireball is flying towards your face. You were smart enough to place your circle elsewhere, and teleporting to it prevents the fireball from burning your delicate features. Another one; you were feared. The fear wears off, leaving you 50 yards away frm the action. Luckily, your circle is within attack range. Zoing!

Info This can be used when Bloodrage, Berserker Rage, Rampage, Deathwish, or Enrage (from Improved Defensive Stance) affects you. It is a nifty ability for PvP and provides warriors with a rather nice emergency heal. It’s not instant, but its still sweet. (Think about those times the healer is silenced and hoping that HoTs will keep you alive)

Shaman
Shamans got some decent upgrades in WotLK. Their totems are raid-wide now and last for
five minutes instead of two. Bloodlust/Heroism is raid-wise as well, but causes a 5 minute debuff preventing players from being affected by another Bloodlust/Heroism. With the 10 minute cooldown, more than two Shamans in a raid is no longer required. Sad for shamans in hardcore raiding guilds, happy for classes who rarely got a raid spot.

Info Shamans never had a crowd control spell, but now they do. A hexed target may move around and get out harms way, but can do little else. Note that damage can interrupt the Hex, but its not 100% like with polymorph or shackle. Oh yeah, and Hex is a curse, not a magical effect.

Info A powerful ability, both for PvE and PvP. Use it on your biggest damage dealer in PvP. Use it on the tank or on someone not in danger of stealing aggro in PvE. Or use it to get that dps warrior killed. You know, the one that keeps rolling on your leather gear.

Info This ability, yet again, is useful for tanking, but also has value for solo farming, questing, and especially for PvP. However, it currently does not scale at all, making it less valuable as time passes. I expect this will be changed before or after launch.

Info Overal l, it is a decent damage dealing ability. The biggest use in PvE is the threat reduction element of the spell. The intent is for this spell to be useful in both PvP and PvE. PvP for damage, but also to confuse the enemy (which is the image, and which the mage?).

seconds. Info You can use this to, for instance, trap a caster during a pull in PvE. PvP utility is limited because the arrows, and the spot they land at, are clearly visible to anyone.
